Tvpartywn09If Kath & Kim, airing Thursdays on NBC, has taught us anything, it's that the word "class" is relative. Literally. This mother/daughter combo is oozing with a level of sartorial enthusiasm that can only be described as delusional. Ignorance, my friends, is bliss, and Kath & Kim is a study in ignorance. For Kath (Molly Shannon), it's mostly based on her style. For Kim (Selma Blair), it's pretty much everything. So if you're a parent of an adult child who needs to move back home because she was totally unprepared for everything except shopping at Forever 21, call your friends; we're throwing a party!

Setting the scene:
Kath's home is that perfect combination of suburban elegance and inappropriate self-love, with a Thighmaster behind every couch and a grapevine wreath on every wall. Under a glass and wrought-iron coffee table -- covered with copies of Us Weekly -- place a zebra-shaped area rug, next to which should be an in-home stair stepper. In collage picture frames, put various pictures of Kath and Kim you can find online and print. Party favors should include sun visors and gift certificates to Curves.

Attire:
Here's where things get fun. "Kaths" should be in bright aerobic wear featuring tights and thong leotards, while "Kims" go daring in supershort miniskirts and Trophy Wife T-shirts. "Phils" should wear kimono-length silk robes in animal prints with boxer shorts, while "Craigs" can go with jeans, novelty T-shirts and sneakers.

On the menu:
Even though Phil owns a sandwich shop, we suggest you go with what would make Kim happiest: catering from Applebee's. Nothing says party like riblets and Buffalo chicken salads. For whistle wetting, we suggest sangria.

On the hi-fi:
The Very Best of Cher, loud, proud and uninhibited.

The showstopper:
If there is one place that sums up the overall vibe of this show it's probably Curves. The largest fitness franchise in the world, it has more than 10,000 locations, meaning there should be one over your shoulder at this very minute. If not, call the chain at (800) 257-5332 to find out how you can open your own. Wear your thong leotard proudly, and crank up the Cher.

The long leotards sleeved styles are much nicer looking and provide that elegance you look for in a dance outfit. When under the lights, you don't want to go bare armed because it just doesn't look as attractive as long or cuff sleeves. This style will also hide any unsightly blemishes you have on your arms so you don't have to worry about anyone seeing them. This will give you confidence so you can put on a superior dance show.
