It's a 'Mad,' 'Mad,' world and I love watching it

"Mad Men" is back for a third season this Sunday at 10 p.m. on AMC.

And for those of you who aren't fans of the show, I can already predict what you are going to say -- that nothing happens in the premiere.

TV Gal Character Relocation Program

After watching the season premiere of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," TV Gal reader Lisa contacted me and declared that she wanted to rescue Amy and transport her over to "Glee." Although I feared Ben would definitely track Amy down (the boy is focused) I thought it is a great idea to take her away from bad writing, terrible storylines and endless conversations about her breasts.

Desperate times on Wisteria Lane

I'm going to miss Edie Britt.

We won't learn until April 19 whether Edie survived the strangulation/ car crash/electrocution (although I have to say it's not looking good is it?) on "Desperate Housewives." But we do know that Nicollette Sheridan has stated that she won't be returning to the show next season.

Yesterday while I was watching this week's episode of "Gossip Girl" (Monday, CW, 9 p.m.), my husband came into the living room and said, "How old are they supposed to be?" I responded, "You are so over-thinking this show."

Why is ABC mad at me?

ABC is making big news this week because of The Bachelor brouhaha.

I've never been a fan of the show (couldn't even make it through the first season) so although I find it fascinating that a man can go from most desirable dad in America to deceptive, despicable cad overnight, I can't muster up that much interest in the story.
