Let's take a look at how some of our favorite shows are doing:
Damages: I've heard complaints from many of you that this season is moving way too slowly. On a scale of 1 to Izzie's diagnosis on Grey's Anatomy, I'd say the pace is about a five. And I agree the pace is an adjustment -- plot points simmer for episode upon episode. A depressed Ellen's (Rose Byrne) energy level is at all time low.

A TV show shouldn't make you angry. Yet that's exactly the emotion I experienced while watching the opening minutes of the two hour season premiere of Grey's Anatomy (Thursday, NBC, 9 p.m.). I won't give away anything but I will say that I found the scene simply ridiculous.
We are so getting the new season party started a little early because next week is busy, busy, busy. This is definitely when I think the networks are plotting against me. Gossip Girl, Prison Break, One Tree Hill and the new TNT series Raising the Bar all premiere on Monday, September 1. Really, is that necessary?
Let's be honest, I show the same impatience with story lines on TV shows. Often I can't sit back and tolerantly wait for the story line to unfold. I'm quick to judge.
