There are so many new shows premiering this week it almost feels like September.
It's not an exaggeration to say that at least once a day I quote "Arrested Development" to someone ("There's always money in the banana stand!"), wish the show was still on the air or cross my fingers that the much talked about "Arrested Development" movie really does happen.
How absolutely perfect, perfect, perfect was last night's episode of "ER"? So perfect that I'm almost ready to pardon the show for all its past transgressions.

But there is only so much back and forth, back and forth, and back and forth a TV viewer can take. Eventually a show has to decide or risk repelling the viewer.
