Edie Falco returns in 'Nurse Jackie'

It's time for the 2009 Amy Awards!

The Dillon Panthers didn't have a perfect season, but "Friday Night Lights" sure did.

Scrubs is back for an eighth season Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

And when I say it's back, I don't just mean the show is returning with new episodes. I mean the comedy is back to the Scrubs we knew and loved.

We've spent a lot of time this month celebrating our favorite TV things of 2008. But I thought we would take a break from all the happy, happy, joy, joy and talk about some of the things we didn't like this year. Don't worry we'll be back to all the good times next week.

To put it in strictly critical terms, Fringe is bumming me out. On paper this is a show I should love. It's from J.J. Abrams and stars Pacey (aka Joshua Jackson). How could it possibly go wrong?

Despite being the TV series that cried "This is our final season" before it certainly appears that this indeed will be the ER's last rotation in a TV season.

I finally have a new favorite show this season. Between Do Not Disturb, Kath & Kim (which actually managed to be worse than I feared it would be) and The Ex List, I was beginning to think that the new TV season and I would have to permanently break up.

I think we all know by now that sometimes I irrationally dislike a show.

That my anger towards it does not fit the crime the show has committed.

That's the case with The Ex List (premiering Friday at 9 p.m. on CBS).
