Damnit Jack, these are my final finale thoughts

Nothing you can say can tear me away from "My Boys."

I’ve given this a lot of thought and I’m officially ready to declare "My Boys," which returns with new episodes next Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on TBS as one of the three funniest comedies currently on television. ("30 Rock" and "How I Met Your Mother" are my other two).

It’s not an exaggeration to say that at least once a day I quote "Arrested Development" to someone ("There’s always money in the banana stand!"), wish the show was still on the air or cross my fingers that the much talked about "Arrested Development" movie really does happen.

Some of my friends started an email chain this week with the theme being "Why is Lynette always such a bitch?"

They were talking, of course, about Desperate Housewives.

Well, yes, parts of it. But this is the most wonderful time of the year (or at least that’s what all the songs say) so let’s take a look at some of my favorites of 2008.
