You have to laugh at AMC's official description of Sunday's season finale of "Mad Men." "Don has an important meeting with Connie. Betty receives some advice. Pete talks to his clients." Last night's episode of "Mad Men" was great except for one thing - there was no Joan. "Mad Men" has created this world where characters effortlessly move in and out of episodes from the background to the center of the action. For example, we saw little of Pete and a lot more of Sal last...

; Yeah, this might not work. Unfortunately that was my thought after watching the second episode of "Melrose Place," which premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. on the CW.

; As a TV-loving, movie-adoring, music-loving pop-culture society we kind of love to build things up to a frenzy only to tear it down and launch a backlash attack..

Can 'Project Runway' Make It Work on Lifetime?

Do I appear untrustworthy to you?

I ask because Lifetime sent out the screener DVD for the season premiere of "Project Runway" (Thursday at 10 p.m. on Lifetime) with the final ten minutes of the hour omitted.

It's a 'Mad,' 'Mad,' world and I love watching it

"Mad Men" is back for a third season this Sunday at 10 p.m. on AMC.

And for those of you who aren't fans of the show, I can already predict what you are going to say -- that nothing happens in the premiere.

Taking a bite out of the second season of 'True Blood'

We've definitely had our disagreements. What would a TV column be if we all agreed on everything? It would be like watching a TV show where everyone got along and things always worked out.

Jayharrington_betteroffted_240 It's not an exaggeration to say that at least once a day I quote "Arrested Development" to someone ("There's always money in the banana stand!"), wish the show was still on the air or cross my fingers that the much talked about "Arrested Development" movie really does happen.
