Friday Night Lights
Damnit Jack, these are my final finale thoughts
The official season has ended! Before we bring on the summer season, a few final thoughts:
The Dillon Panthers didn't have a perfect season, but "Friday Night Lights" sure did.
There are so many new shows premiering this week it almost feels like September.
Never has the phrase you don't know what you've got until it's gone been more appropriate.
Many of you have aptly titled "Samantha Who?," which returns to the schedule Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC, "Samantha Where?" The show hasn't been on the air since December 1. ABC kept adding it to the schedule and taking it off to make room for epic long episodes of "The Bachelor." The funny comedy deserves more than a four month break in the middle of the season.
Yesterday while I was watching this week's episode of "Gossip Girl" (Monday, CW, 9 p.m.), my husband came into the living room and said, "How old are they supposed to be?" I responded, "You are so over-thinking this show."
Okay before we get to today's column, I would like to pause for a moment to have a brief tête-à -tête with the producers of American Idol.
If you only watch one episode of Friday Night Lights, tonight's episode (9 p.m. on NBC) is the one to watch.
It's Jason Street's (Scott Porter) final episode and his story arc is so compelling that at the end of the hour I found myself wishing that we could have spin-off that would follow Jason on his new adventure.
