Your 2009 Amy Awards Winners

The results are in. Thanks to the thousands of readers who voted in the 2009 Amy Awards. Like I've always said, if we were in charge of the Emmys they would be so much more fun.

What show made you a TV fan? Clearly most of us take TV a bit more seriously than the average viewer. So what was the show that got you hooked?

When "Raising the Bar" first premiered, I, like many other viewers, was obsessed with Mark-Paul Gosselaar's hairstyle.

I like Mark Feuerstein. I liked him when he romanced Karen on "Once & Again." And I liked him when pursued Donna on "The West Wing" (although that didn't work out so well for her, did it?

Whoo-hoo! I can't thank you enough for participating in the call for categories for the 2009 Amy Awards. I had a blast reading your ideas. You guys are very clever, very funny and a little cranky about certain topics (it appears most of us would like dead characters to, you know, stay dead).

Before I talk about "Maneater," premiering this Saturday at 9 p.m. on Lifetime (it concludes Sunday at 9 p.m.), we need to discuss that the full title is "Maneater, a Lifetime summer event presented by Vaseline aloe fresh.".

I am here to prevent you from getting the summer TV blues. Sure the regular TV season is over but there is much to look forward to. Here are the top six TV shows I'm looking forward to during the hot summer months
