I guess I wasn't that surprised to hear about his departure since it does seem like the show doesn't quite know what to do with him these days. What can happen before the season ends? Thoughts on "HIMYM," "Lost" and more

Every TV show has to make decisions. Sometimes they are small (for instance, they know Marcia Cross looks great in green) and sometimes they are big (let's kill off Edie). As we approach the end of the season, here as some of the big questions I'm thinking about.

Give 'Parks and Recreation' a chance - that's what I said

Is "Parks and Recreation," the new comedy premiering Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on NBC, a lot like "The Office?" Yes it is. It's filmed in a mockumentary style with all the characters addressing the camera. The pace, the cutaways, the lingering shots and the mugging all seems fairly familiar.
