Watch out, here comes 'Maneater'

Before I talk about "Maneater," premiering this Saturday at 9 p.m. on Lifetime (it concludes Sunday at 9 p.m.), we need to discuss that the full title is "Maneater, a Lifetime summer event presented by Vaseline aloe fresh.".

I am here to prevent you from getting the summer TV blues. Sure the regular TV season is over but there is much to look forward to. Here are the top six TV shows I'm looking forward to during the hot summer months

Juliet and Sawyer's romance. Michael and Holly's romance. Chuck and Blair's on-again, off-again, on-again romance. Kitty's almost affair. Denny's ghost. Doug and Carol's return. Donna, Brenda and Kelly's return. Smash and Street's departures. Grissom's departure. Abby's waltz. Walter's cow. Kutner's death. Bill's death. Tony's betrayal.

Phew!

The official season has ended! Before we bring on the summer season, a few final thoughts:

Ugh! Upfronts week is emotionally exhausting, isn't it? We have our highs (yay "Chuck" is coming back! ABC gives "Better Off Ted" a second season!) and our lows (life does not go on for "Life"). Sometimes the highs and lows came at a rapid fire pace (NBC cancels "Medium," but CBS picks it up!)

Okay Amy, take a deep breath. Calm down/ Do not, I repeat, do not over hype "Glee." I'm going to try to remain calm while I tell you about "Glee," which gets a sneak preview after "American Idol" tomorrow night at 9 p.m.

Gotcha! Does anyone else feel like lately show's have been toying with our emotions and blatantly misleading us? Let's take a look at the spoilers we heard about and how they really played out. (Warning don't read if you haven't watched "House," "Bones," "Grey's" or "The Office" yet.).

Every TV show has to make decisions. Sometimes they are small (for instance, they know Marcia Cross looks great in green) and sometimes they are big (let's kill off Edie). As we approach the end of the season, here as some of the big questions I'm thinking about.

Is it the season finale or the series finale? "Scrubs" ends its eighth season in a one-hour episode tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC amid talks that the show could return in some new form next season. But even if Zach Braff makes a few guest appearances on a revamped version of "Scrubs," it certainly seems like this will be the series finale of the "Scrubs" we have known and loved for eight years.

Next Monday, in an episode titled "Valley Girls," "Gossip Girl" will travel back in time to show us a 17-year-old Lily (Brittany Snow) get kicked out of boarding school and deal with her parents, Rick (Andrew McCarthy) and Cece (Cynthia Watros).
