Many of you are worried about Ugly Betty.
The dramedy will get booted off the air on March 26 to make room for Samantha Who? and the new comedy In the Motherhood. (Let me pause for a moment to announce how annoying it is that a show I like gets booted for another show I like. Why couldn't they take Wife Swap off the air to make room for Samantha Who? Booo I say. Boooooo.)

I love The Celebrity Apprentice.
I can't help it. I watched the second season of The Celebrity Apprentice, premiering Sunday at 9 p.m. on NBC, with unabashed glee. I love Donald Trump's pomp, pompadour, penchant for hyperbole and unapologetic nepotism. It's all just so preposterous. This season's contestants are Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Annie Duke, Tom Green, Natalie Gulbis, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, Brande Roderick, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker and Tionne Watkins.

The first season of Privileged comes to a close Tuesday at 9 p.m. on The CW. I'm not going to lie to you -- I'm worried. Lately it does seem like every new show I like doesn't live to see a second season. But I want to believe in the vast television landscape there is room for a quality show like Privileged -- a show that combines teen angst, compelling family drama, rocky romances, and navigating your post-college twenties with the best pop-culture references since I stopped visiting Stars Hollow.
Let's take a look at how some of our favorite shows are doing:
Damages: I've heard complaints from many of you that this season is moving way too slowly. On a scale of 1 to Izzie's diagnosis on Grey's Anatomy, I'd say the pace is about a five. And I agree the pace is an adjustment -- plot points simmer for episode upon episode. A depressed Ellen's (Rose Byrne) energy level is at all time low.

Let's open the Ask TV Gal Mailbag
Please tell me this Cross-over event with Grey's and Private Practice is over soon. I hate hate hate it. I can't be the only one. And if Izzy is going to die, maybe they'll let the audience vote on how...perhaps we can make her death as excruciating and drawn out as this storyline of hers. On could only hope. Will this week be worth the time I've wasted the past month? Rebecca

Sometimes I'm still so naive about television.
It's not like I don't know that American Idol often puts people through that make for good television. But I was still SHOCKED that Tatiana made it into the Top 36. I've always felt like the purpose of Hollywood Week was to not only find the best singers but also to discover who can handle the stress of the competition and who can't.

Do you remember last year how dismayed I was about The Return of Jezebel James? I couldn't get past the fact that the dismal comedy was from the woman behind Gilmore Girls.
I know many of you are concerned about the show and I want to assure that it is NOT the same situation with Dollhouse, the new series from Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly) premiering tonight at 9 p.m. on FOX. Having loved, loved, loved Buffy, my expectations are probably even higher than they were for Jezebel James.

Some of my friends started an email chain this week with the theme being "Why is Lynette always such a bitch?"
They were talking, of course, about Desperate Housewives.

Love makes the TV story line go 'round.
Without it, the supply closets would go unused on Grey's Anatomy. The siblings would all only have each other to fight on Brothers & Sisters. Ted wouldn't have anything to talk to his children about on How I Met Your Mother. And Gossip Girl's website would be empty.

Am I crazy or is The Secret Life of the American Teenager becoming a smidge more realistic?
