New Year's Resolutions for TV Characters . . .

We watch them week after week so really we know what's best for them. Here are my New Year's resolutions for some of our favorite TV characters:

You know how some people make a new year's resolution to watch less TV? Well, obviously, THAT's not going to happen for me any time soon. I don't even understand the objective. Watch less TV? What a blasphemous statement.

Well, yes, parts of it. But this is the most wonderful time of the year (or at least that's what all the songs say) so let's take a look at some of my favorites of 2008.

We've spent a lot of time this month celebrating our favorite TV things of 2008. But I thought we would take a break from all the happy, happy, joy, joy and talk about some of the things we didn't like this year. Don't worry we'll be back to all the good times next week.

These are indeed strange times in the world of TV.

Medical crisis. Series finale. Character arrival. The networks have one big last hurrah before they head off for their not-so-long winter's nap. After this week, we won't see new episodes for many of our shows until after the ball has dropped in Time Square.
