If only every single woman were as lucky as Ali Fedotowsky: She had 25 vetted men ready to woo her and logistics for dates worked out.

While most women spend hours fretting over what to wear, Fedotowsky, better known as ABC's The Bachelorette, which has its finale Monday, Aug. 2, has costumer Cary Fetman to garb her.

In the finale, she wears an Alberto Makali peach chiffon gown with a ribbed bustier dusted with silver and bronze stones.

"I have gotten to wear some amazing dresses and gowns," Fedotowsky says. "I definitely enjoy it and appreciate the fact that I get to wear them. I feel so out of place."

"She likes that cutesy kind of look," Fetman says. "Rolled-up jeans with a tank top - if she could, that is what she would have worn every day. And yet she did dress up and play sexy girl."

"I have to put on heels, and I am tripping and slipping," Fedotowsky says.

Unlike many shows where designers create dresses, all of the roughly 100 outfits on The Bachelorette are bought.

The gown in the premiere was from Pamela Dennis. She also wears gowns from the second lines (not as expensive as haute couture) of Badgley Mischka and Carmen Marc Valvo.

Fetman shops for Fedotowsky at Neiman Marcus, Barneys and Macy's.

After department stores, Fetman hits boutiques: Planet Blue and Intermix.

"In some of these stores, you find one piece or two pieces. That's where you go after you have your bulk (of the wardrobe)," Fetman says. "That's what gives you those special pieces."

"I know that Ali has a tendency to dress for girls," he says.

"I thought she looked better when she had body-conscious clothes," Fetman says. "I loved one-shoulders on her because I loved how her upper body looked."

Fedotowsky wore an exquisite black one-shoulder BCBG cocktail dress in one episode.

"Just because it's not expensive does not stop me from liking it," Fetman says. "I will take a tank top for $5 from Old Navy and mix it with a $500 jacket. Not everything has to be expensive. You need to be able to mix things to make it a hot look."

Most of Fedotowsky's tops, skirts and day dresses are from Alexander Wang, Alice and Olivia, Theory and Elizabeth & James. She also wears Vintage Havana and Rebecca Taylor. Her jeans are from Hudson.

Shoes ranged from top-of-the line Jimmy Choos to the more moderately priced Jessica Simpson line and included Stuart Weitzman, Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang.

Much as Fedotowsky enjoyed being the Bachelorette, (after a well-publicized stint on The Bachelor) she admits, "It is hard for me to put on makeup and dress up."
