Tvfashion_lasvegas Since we're smack dab in the midst of the holiday shopping season, we thought we'd search high and low for a fashionable character who can be emulated on the cheap. Oddly enough, we came up with someone who spends as much of her time in high-end designer duds as she does in simple and chic loungewear -- Delinda Deline (Molly Sims) from Las Vegas, airing Fridays on NBC and weekdays in repeats on TNT.

While most of Delinda's time is spent in the ultrachic Montecito casino, wearing everything from Dolce & Gabbana to Cynthia Rowley, she makes sure there's time to lounge around comfortably when there's a break in the action. And it's during those times that she lets go of the top-end wardrobe to relax and look cute in the simpler sartorial pleasures -- namely items from American Apparel.

A particular favorite of Delinda's is AA's girly fleece shorts in brown. Amazingly comfortable and breathable -- thanks to combed California cotton -- these shorts feature a low waist with an inner spaghetti drawstring. Best of all, they're super inexpensive and look great. She pairs them with another classic, the fine jersey short-sleeve T-shirt in brown, also from American Apparel. The premium shirts are contoured to fit a woman's curves and feature a stretchable baby rib collar and reinforced shoulder construction for durability.

The great thing about American Apparel is its wide variety of basics that can be used as the building blocks of any wardrobe: tank tops, T-shirts, long-sleeve Ts, tights, leggings, etc. The quality is exceptional, and you can even find dresses, hoodies, jackets, swimwear and more from the label -- all of it made in the company's Los Angeles factory. And while we're focusing on the style of Delinda, AA also produces terrific clothing options for men and kids -- perfect for gifting.

To go with any of the more casual choices from AA, Ms. Deline often sports classic Adidas footwear such as their Superstar II in white with baby-blue striping.

And since it's become obvious that her boyfriend, Danny, has the attention span of a gnat, it might not be a bad choice for Delinda to slip into AA's thick-knit jersey short-alls. For those of you behind on your fashionista dues, short-alls are basically shorts with overall straps. This one piece is designed to feature a T-shirt underneath, but the straps are strategically located to make going commando a real -- though daring -- possibility.

But for those ladies looking to lounge around the house on the cheap, nothing beats throwing on your boyfriend's dress shirt. Delinda has no problem lifting one of Danny's black Hugo Boss Clifford textured dress shirts. Ladies, just for the record, a woman in a man's dress shirt is amazingly sexy. Assuming, of course, you look like Delinda.
