Tvfashion_candice Far be it for us to complain about what your home looks like -- frankly, we've never been invited inside. But we're fairly certain it could use a little "freshening." And while we think Candice Olson of HGTV's Divine Design, which airs daily, is certainly one of the most stylish -- and fertile -- interior designers on TV, this week we're much more interested in how she styles a room.

With the holidays right around the corner, this is the time of year when most people look to redecorate their homes. You're going to have company over and you don't want people to think you've got bad taste, right? But if you don't have the wherewithal to hire some long-legged, fancy blonde from Canada, you can watch Candice perform miracles, then head over to SeenON.com and re-create one of the rooms she's highlighted on her show.

SeenON.com is a great source for finding the clothes being worn by your favorite stars, but now the Web site is featuring all of the decorative pieces Olson has chosen for her televised re-creations, where to buy them and how much they cost -- something we never seem to learn from Candice.

So, if you wanted a modern room with classic features based on Olson's remodeling of a basement suite, you'll need to start with the biggies -- namely a sofa and chair. Olson chose Norwalk Furniture's  Horizon sofa and its Otis chair in white. Both reflect minimalist lines while the chair is detailed with track arms and a sculpted back. For a real multipurpose fixture, Olson went with an abaca ottoman from Crate & Barrel. It has an hourglass figure woven from naturally multitonal abaca, and it can also be used as a nightstand, end table seat or stool.

Another great piece is a rosewood hall chest from Elte Santos. It's both elegant and minimalistic and works perfectly against the white primary pieces.

Of course, as you probably know, the key to beautiful design is in the details. And keeping with Olson's taste, she chose a pair of white Dorset vases from Simon Pearce as well as the label's Weathersfield berry bowl. Accent lighting is also key, and Olson recommended the crystal, white and nickel Marlene table lamp from Crate & Barrel. Another beautiful selection was a Desert Sunset 5.5-inch rose bowl by Waterford.

For the walls, artwork includes Les Fenetres De La Rue Bruyere by Wendy Farrow as well as Plate Series by Jane Teglas. Both are available from Canvas Gallery.

Whether you can get all of these items delivered in time for the new year is anyone's guess, but we suggest you give it a shot because Candice is busy.

Hello Candice,

My daughter Dawn is in the process of purchasing a co-op apartment (I'm very proud of her, she is 41 and is doing this all by herself), I was wondering if you could make over her apartment. The apartment needs a new kitchen and bath and flooring. It would be wonderful if you could do this for her. Please consider this, I would be so happy to give her this surprise.

Thank you,

Fran DiCarlo

Hi Candice

I reside in Vancouver, B. C. Canada and work as a nurse in our cardiology unit at Vancouver General Hospital. Our unit is in a great need of a make over. Would you be up to the challenge of redecorating a hosptial unit.

Vancouver General is the biggest hospital in Vancouver. We will be the city that will host the 2010 Winter Olympics. Please consider.

Thank you.

Hi Candice! I absolutely love your show. You are so talented and make such amazing transformations out of the rooms you work on. My family and I would love to have our kitchen touched up. The kitchen is very dated and our oak cabinets are very worn. We didn't know if you did any sort of textured vintage cabinet painting. Having two young children, we thought this style would be realistic for our family. Thank you for your time and consideration you really are such an amazing designer.

Thank you,

Katie Kelly

Candice! Every time I watch your show (Sunny Isles Beach, Florida)I enter in a "state of

meximum delight". I just wished I could have your incredible creativity. I am 74, trying so hard to make my master bedroom livable and comfortable for the short years(?) I have ahead of me after all 74 is quite scary.

I wish I could ask you some questions to give me pointers

to acheive my dream.

Hi Candice,

I love the way you figure people out! You are right on with who they are and it all looks so easy for you. I know everyone would love for you to design and remodel their home. I am starting an adventure inti a kitchen remodel. I have a small kitchen and want to take down a wall to open it up for a great den bar area. I'm sure you get this all the time but I wish you would come my way and remodel my kitchen for me. I live in a small town in the US. Is it possible what do I need to do?

Absolutely think you are the best. I live with a commercial builder and we remodeled over 5 years ago. At the time we could not afford the kitchen to be redone. now we can but I need a designer!!!! Love how you make so many people happy. How rewarding that must be. Great crew you have. Really love to watch your show. Thanks, Patti Barksdale

Candace,

I have a dilema in my den area. I work out of my home (I paint acrylic skulls for medical institutes) and I have no idea how to organize the area nicely along with my desk, and with my large wall unit and TV. It leaves me with no room for any seating area. I am at a loss. I can't afford to do a redesign so I was hoping you would consider me for a show. When you see my den you will just shake your head and say poor girl..She needs a proper work space!!! I also want a nice den area to watch my TV. I have decorated the rest of my house nicely but I just can't seem to get it together with this one area. HELP!!!!! PLEASE. I would like to hide all of my skulls when not working on them but have no idea as to how. I would love to donate all of my old furniture. I love your show and your designs. I would be honored to have you in my home and would love to cook for yourself and your crew. Please consider my lousy cramped working conditions!!!!

Help Candace Help!!!!

Sincerely, Kim Jozefyk

Uh hi i dont really know what to say you already have a lot of people that already want to be on your show. Well it will be worth a try. My fmily and i want to finish our basement. But we got stuck on how to do it, like always. So i am here today asking BIG HELP! on to finish our basement. If you say yes you would only be doing a part of it. the game room and the dramatic theater room. i want to do this for my parents and for my older sister who is going off to collage in 2009 and want this to be a present for her. :( we are very close and ill miss her. the game room will be 23 by 21 or is it 21 by 23 feet. I dont know i am only 13. Well anyway the theater room will be 23 by 14 or is it 14 by 23 feet. there i go again very confused. if you dont want to do this i understand. just email me because i love your show and i would love to get to know you more. you are fun, beautiful, and have great taste in your design.

Sincerly Lauren

hey Candice you are absolutely the best designer I have ever seen. I watch all of your shows. I'm your biggest fan. Some of your designs make me cry they are of magnificent. Like the one I watched tonight that you did for the hockey player. the window fountains where did they come from? where do you get your fabrics they are stunning! I'm addicted to rich fabrics and you have the best! I'm a designer want tobe. Please write me back and let me know about the fabrics and waterfall windows. I love you and Chico too! He's amazing? what happen to Edmund? well I know that you are a busy lady. talk to you soon now that I know how to email you. HGTV doesn't have a place to email yow or I would have written you a long time ago. I hope to meet you some time, but I would maybe faint or something stupid. keep designing I'll keep watching in total amazement.

Love Ys and God Bless

Pat

Your designs are great. The rooms are beautiful and full og grace and charm. My question is where to buy the windows with the waterfall. What a dream to add to ones home.
