Despite Joy Behar's warning that her boyfriend may be approaching codgerdom rather fast, Katharine McPhee is standing by her man, thanks. Make that her much older man: McPhee's boyfriend, she revealed on today's View, is 19 years old than she.

"His name is Nick, and he's like my best (friend)," the 22-year-old guest co-host explained, adding that, "I've always been a bit older than I am."

"Yeah, but when you're 60 he'll be 80," Behar cut in.

"That's not that big of a difference," McPhee replied. "Once you're old, you're old."

Good for Katharine for nabbing an older guy and standing by her decision. As for Behar: lighten up! Doesn't she (and Walters) know they sound lik eharpies whenever they play the age-game?

i think people should be aloud to date whoever they want, age is just a number. soul mates has nothing to do with age. more power to her, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
