Us Weekly reports that the "American Idol " runner-up (and some say he wuz robbed of the winner title) has broken up with his BF Drake LaBry.
"They're still friends, and it's totally mutual," a source said. "They will still talk and see each other."
Apparently, Adam is "crazy busy" with his album and rehearsals. But not too busy to attend the premiere of the Michael Jackson movie, "This is It," with Katy Perry.
Why take a no-name boyfriend to red-carpet events when you can be photographed with other A-list celebs instead? Publicity 101, folks
"They both felt this moment is too important for Adam to focus on anything else but getting this album out and having it be a huge hit," the source added.
Yeah, we kinda think that was Adam's concern. Drake, not so much.

Wow. Nasty much? I love how much is presumed true by "unnamed sources" and how gleefully this garbage is reported by reputable newspapers.

Hmmm, that's funny because according to the "unnamed source" that lives in my head, Lambert his boyfriend broke up BEFORE the This Is It premiere and I trust my source more than yours. I mean, seriously, they're both equally legit, right?
O please, this is not journalism, this is just crap. Katy and Adam are friends even before AI and he broke up with Drake before This is it premiere, so get your facts right.
What does Adam need to do to not have his motives questioned? Is that covered in Publicity 101? This reporting smells like junior high school Instant Messaging.
I am very excited to hear Adam's album. I think folks sticking their nose into his personal life is mean. He is working really hard and needs to be able to blow off steam and hang with friends...like everyone else.
Drake is history, make room for Kradam!!! All us tinhatters know what's goin' on, and TPTB are in on it big time. Peeps, think about it. Why else would they create a Kradam forum on both AO and KAO? You really need to leave Adam out of your speculations. He is a really decent guy and I am sure this is not easy on him. Adam has way too much on his plate to be thinking about a relationship with anyone so - get a life. He and Katy are good friends.
Drake also is a creative man with a life. Hope he is still working on schools that encourage talent, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

@kradamkat - Kradam is dead! This is just a figment of the imagination of some very juvenile people. Please. That is so ridiculous.
First of all, drop the runner-up tag and stop the "some say was robbed of the title' insinuations. AI is over. We're now in the real world. Say instead, ADAM, the American Idol Star, a fact with no controversy. And what's between ADAM and Drake is settled amicably with kind understanding from Drake I'm sure. And ADAM, a genuine humble decent guy treats everyone with kindness, more so someone special in his heart. It's all for the best and they remain close. I admire Drake for giving way and ADAM is thankful no doubt.
