PARENTHOOD

After breast-cancer treatment forced Maura Tierney to bail from NBC's "Parenthood," the network reportedly first approached Helen Hunt about taking over Maura's role.

But EW reports that talks fell flat. Money, maybe?

Now NBC is now looking at Lauren Graham's availability.

Will the "Gilmore Girl" be a better choice for this TV version of the hit 1989 film, which was directed by Ron Howard and starred Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen, Dianne Wiest, Jason Robards, Joaquin Phoenix, Rick Moranis and Keanu Reeves?

What do you think? We vote for Lauren.

I like Lauren but she`s not very interesting actress. Neither is Hunt. I have better idea - MARY STUART MASTERSON ! Does anyone remember her ?

LIKE Lauren to play! I will watch the show if she is there.

Considering Maura edged out Lauren in 2nd season of Celebrity Poker on Bravo, maybe Lauren should be the official backup for all Maura roles.

I like the Mary Stuart Masterson idea too. I love Lauren but for me it's almost the same type of role. I much rather see her do something different. Although I do admit if she was on it I certainly would tune in.

Lauren ALL the way! She's definitely one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood! I miss her...

Lauren!

definitely agree with 'Gabby' she really is one of the most underrated actress in Hollywood and i would love to see her on t.v again, love her, her talent and humour!

The great Lauren Graham definitely! I'd love to see her on TV every week again!! I was going to watch this show anyway because I love Maura Tierney, but thinking of adding the beautiful and talented Graham just sweetens the deal. Pay her whatever she wants, NBC!! Just get her back on TV!
