No more interns for David Letterman, says Quinnipiac University. Spoilsports.
David Letterman's intern shortage begins.
A Connecticut college has initiated a program to keep their interns away from the talk show host's nefarious clutches.
A rep from Quinnipiac University tells People: "Due to recent circumstances we will have a discussion with those in charge of placing our interns at the David Letterman show in the future. We will diligently oversee this internship program to ensure that our interns are out of harm's way."
How will they do this? By placing only male interns? Or by placing only unattractive female interns? Wait, that may not work.
Anyone else think the university is being shortsighted? Let's be realistic. The interns could sleep with Letterman, claim sexual harassment, write a book about it, then turn it into a screenplay and become rich and famous. It's a career-making move.
And I'm sorry, but I find the concept of David Letterman as a sexual predator somewhat amusing.
But it's nice to see the always holier-than-thou Letterman demonized, isn't it?
Just for a change of pace from the usual suspects: Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, Elliot Spitzer, John McCain, and Bill Clinton.

Here's the real story!
Wonderful that you find his sexual harassment so amusing.
If the topic were racial discrimination instead of sexual discrimination, you wouldn't find room for amusement, nor would others be so ho-hum about it. Clearly you've never been the target of sexual harassment which is very real and very prevalent and very much an impediment to one's career and aspirations and functional workplace environment
No wonder Letterman was so insensitive towards Palin's young daughter. He's a womanizer for God's sake! Jerk. I wish they'd drop him like a hot potato.
According to the University, the representative who spoke had "no authority" to do so. It was undergraduate internship coordinator and professor Grace Levine. See the full story at:
