Look for director Adam Rifkin's new television series "Look," based on his award-winning film of the same name, to be begin airing in the first quarter of 2010.

"The first season is eight episodes," he says to one of his actors who shot this inside look with a Flip video. The series will air on a premium cable channel (can you say Showtime?), which enables the series to have an R rating.

Rifkin is really on a roll. He's also writing the tent-pole comedy "Science Fair" for Disney. Think "Night at the Museum" but the science projects come to life.

In the meantime, the writer/director/actor talks about one of his favorite horror films, "Halloween" on Trailers From Hell.

And he's in darn good company. Josh Olson does "The Howling, " Eli Roth loves "I Dismember Mama," Neil LaBute is into "Black Narcissus" and John Landis touts "Dr. Renault's Secret" and "Circus of Horrors."

Happy Halloween, Adam!

More Adam Dish:

Adam Rifkin doesn't believe David Carradine killed himself.
