Whitney Houston confesses to Oprah: 'Bobby Brown was my drug'
Whitney Houston told Oprah on her show Monday that her mother forced her into the drug treatment program that saved her life.
Houston, 46, confessed that she and husband Bobby Brown took cocaine and marijuana during their marriage. But she insists that Brown was the real source of her addiction.
In her first in-depth interview since their divorce, she talks about her "crazy love" for Bobby. "He was my drug," Houston said. "I didn't do anything without him."
Whitney told Oprah that her ex-husband would emotionally abuse her when he was drunk and cut her face out of family photographs.
Her mom, soul singer Cissy Houston, finally got a court injunction and help from the police to take her to rehab.
We sure wish there were more mothers like Cissy.
Don't you?
