Mariah Carey is really sorry about her singing at Michael Jackson's memorial Tuesday at Staples Center.
"Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me," Carey tweeted. "I could barely keep myself from crying."
Seems Carey got emotional when she saw the images of the King of Pop on the huge screen above the stage.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me," Carey explained in a series of posts on Twitter.
The singer added, "One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people he inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts."

I was stunned at how poorly she sounded and was not dressed appropriately for a funeral. It sounded like she needed a glass of water, or hadn't practiced. Poor PR for her. Glad it's over, now the family should pay for the event.
