He compares himself to President Barack Obama. We can see that.  And he was shocked to find out that "Milk" was the name of a guy. But he did the movie anyway.

And now -- as the result of that groundbreaking film -- he is proud to announce that gay people can have jobs, and can be teachers and politicians and doctors and stuff like that.

This dude is pretty smart.

Smart enough to send up his own stoner/slacker image.
