#1 sign the recession is not over: Victoria Beckham downsizes

Is Victoria Beckham downsizing? Wow, if so, the recession is definitely not over.

But she's not cutting back on expensive homes, designer clothes or international travel.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Victoria Beckham has undergone a breast reduction because she was tired of seeing her breasts up around her neck all the time. We second that.

Reportedly, a Los Angeles surgeon recently reduced her assets to a 34B.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old WAG [wives and girlfriends] image -- the big hair, big boobs and fake tan -- and that she has moved on since those days."

Naturally, Posh's camp has not commented on the alleged surgery because, seriously, why would they?

In 2001, Victoria was said to have had them increased even further to a 34DD, but publicly she repeatedly denied she had gone under the knife. In a BBC interview in 2003 she even said: 'I'm completely natural.'

But in 2005, she was forced to admit a cover-up after court papers revealed she had "undergone breast enhancement surgery and had lied about it."
