Looks as if Kate Gosselin's new book "Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals Into Memories," will simmer on the back burner for a while. Maybe even forever.

Christian book publisher Zondervan has decided to hold off on publication. "Memories" had been set for a November release.

Why the delay?

Maybe there just isn't quite as ravenous an appetite now for "an inside look at one of America's most close-knit families"?

The book is said to feature Kate's recipes, tips on organic meals and "meaningful mealtime blessings," according the publisher's site.

Blessings like, "Dear Lord, please smite my cheating wuss of a husband"?

A Zondervan rep says they plan to "work with Kate to reassess the schedule for her next book."

Uh-huh.

Her other books, "Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving With Twins and Sextuplets" and "Eight Little Faces," both published by Zondervan, were bestsellers.

This one, maybe not so much.

Will you buy this book if/when it comes out? And do you buy Kate Gosselin as the multiple Martha Stewart?

I think Kate is amazing and I know how it is to separate! Not many of us can even start to try to raise 8 amazing kids. Putting this all over the magazine and tv is not at all cool! Have some respect for people in tough times!!!! Kate ....I feel for u in these rough days!

Hopefully TLC will close down production too, but probably not. Eileen O'Neill, TLC president, says "It is hard to walk away from high numbers."

The woman has ice water running through her veins.

O'Neill is clammering up her career ladder and doesn't care whose tiny fingers she steps on.

I can't imagine what the heck would be in this book. The only meal she's ever "cooked" is "grapes & crackers on a paper plate".

Oh, there were a few phoney, staged episodes of her making soup to show that she can turn the stove on.

who ARE these people??

Well.. being that quite a while ago, kate declared "a real cook doesn't use recipes", I'm wondering what "recipes" she is putting into the book. Its already been noted that her famous (infamous?) recipes for Crunchy Munch is a ripoff of the side of the cereal box! So, how do you fill a book with recipes for containers of yogurt and a few grapes and hummus on a paper plate?

Oh yeah and about the love at mealtimes.. how many meals did we watch as Kate grabbed food from the kids as they screamed or yelled DO NOT EAT (strawberries)?

As much as I hate to see families break up, I'm wondering if this woman would ever.. ever.. put her family first and come down off her fame rollercoaster. Scale back and rear those kids in a more normal life away from cameras.

There are millions of parents rearing large families that don't have 24 acres and nannies and maids and gardeners, etc. I'm sure they have saved enough money to live "normal".

After all, they both continue to say "its all for the kids". Oh yeah? What kids need 24 acres and a McMansion and atvs and mototcycles and spa treatments and FOUR Crooked Houses?

Kids just want mommy and daddy and a snack every once in a while.

These parents should be ashamed of themselves.

Something "meaningful" from Kate Gosselin? I think not. Publishers: don't encourage her--she'll start traveling away from her kids for weeks at a time again.

I bet Beth Carson feels bad.

Kate, I feel for you with my whole heart for what you are going through. I have watched your show over the years and am proud of the way you are raising your children. You have spent countless hours making sure they are healthy by giving them nutrious meals, keeping them clean and their home spotless, and happy by giving them all the endless love of a mother. As you go through this heart felt time facing a divorce, stay true to the love you have for your children. I went through a terrible divorce 20 years ago that took almost 3 years to dissolve. I won full custody of my children. I am proud to say my children are college graduates and successful in their careers. After my children were raised, I met a wonderful man and have remarried. He is a strong christian and family man. We now have 5 grandchildren between us and another on the way. I have recently retired from a local school district after 38 years of service. If I lived near you, I would welcome the chance to volunteer my services, to help you and your beautiful children. God watch over you and your children and give you the strength you will need to raise them on your own.

Kate, I feel for you with my whole heart

blad...blad....blad....

YOU need to get your head out of the sand

Kate herself said "If you have to follow a recipe, you are not a real cook."

I think that was the day she was screaming bloody murder because Jon was cooking his Grandma's Korean food.

Kate nearly dropped dead. She couldn't stand Jon/the crew in her kitchen.

She said it made her "panic."

Gag ...
