Andy Samberg's writer: Bruno, Eminem stunt was totally rehearsed

090601sacha-flying1 Andy Samberg's head writer on the MTV Movie Awards, Scott Aukerman, now admits that the controversial Bruno/Eminem stunt was completely staged and rehearsed.

Which means that Slim Shady -- who appeared to be utterly horrified at the sight of Bruno's privates and later stormed out of the Universal Ampitheatre in anger -- is a much better actor than he proved in "Eight Mile."

Why, he's poised to be the new Sean Penn!

According to the Pop and Hiss blog, after a day of silence from Slim Shady and MTV, Aukerman wrote on his Tumbler: "Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress [rehearsal] and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show."

What about the angry look Eminem gave Cohen's buttocks? Just acting.

And that serious storm-out? According to TV Guide, "Most of the big celebs came, did their thing and left."

Missed the show and the video of the stunt? Watch it again here

Do you buy this explanation? Or are they saying this to help Eminem save face?

Check out Aukerman's Tumbler for more inside scoop on the show.

Sure. It was oviously staged by "Bruno's" people. However, I would like to know whether Eminem really knew it was coming. Was Eminem in on the gag, or was he was just another viction of Cohen's rather warped sense of humor?

That was some bullshit

His blog entry has since been DELETED!

Maybe his announcement was "staged" SCANDAL!

If you look at Eminem's face when Bruno was still way up in the air. He looked pissed off a little too early.. despite the good acting job he gave it away by reacting too soon.

so eminem is not outraged. what about everyone else? all the laughing on camera from the audience was nervous laughter. certainly will show up as approval. now i know i'm too old to watch the mtv awards. what a relief.

This was revealed 7am yesterday.

They are covering for Eminem who is a pompous *** who was totally humiliated by an ***.

Eminem is not that good of an actor and he would have no reason at all for his fake career as a tough guy to be destroyed by being humiliated in such a way.

He is now nothing but the butt of butt jokes.

Elizabeth Snead you are a moron. "***** is a much better actor than he proved in "Eight Mile." ? That was a good movie and he acted well in it. What you should've said is that he is a much better actor then you are a writer. You Mad?

EMINEM IS A HOMOPHOBE. and has a pencil **** .. i should know. i cut it off.

I really hope Eminem was in on the act as he and Sacha Baron Cohen are my favourite artists, one being musical the other comedy. Eminem has always seemed to portray someone who knows how to laugh at himself so i would be shocked if his walk out was real, also very dissapointed.
