Why did Janice Thibodeaux try to strangle Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour?
According to Radaronline.com, who talked exclusively to the attacker behind bars, she was doing it for revenge.
She watched Simon jokingly choke fellow judge Paula Abdul during Tuesday's show .
And she didn't much like it.
"I wasn't cool with Simon Cowell choking Paula Abdul on the show last week and with her crying-out 'help' as he did so," Thibodeaux said. "Nobody said anything about that, so I wanted to confront him about it because that is not appropriate behavior, is it?"
When the Idol-fan Thibodeux, 33, saw Cowell's former girlfriend, she decided to confront her about the strangulation of poor Paula.
They talked, started arguing and then the 200-pound self-described former security guard put her hands around Terri's neck and started choking. She was swiftly tackled by the cops. She says: "I don't regret what I did because of what Simon did to Paula, nobody seemed to care about that."
No word from Paula about thanking this total stranger for standing up to Simon for choking her.
Just what Paula needs, another obsessed fan.

Janice is in need of deep therapy. Let me get this straight: Because Simon "choked" Paula on the show, Janice then felt compelled to really choke Terri? This woman is insane and needs help. What a nutcase.
Oh great, we have a justice policy that allows jail immates to talk to tabloids and internet channels? What kind of law allowed that? And not only is this stupid woman not sorry for her actions, she actually equates horseplay on a show with "reality"? I hope she's locked up for a while-we don't need another murder in the name of "fandom".
I am surprised by the fact that Paul Abdul has some of the interesting and "unique" fan-based on earth. Another not-so good publicity for Ms. Abdul. Oy!

Choking?? OK, to be clear, Simon was NOT choking her. There are ways to play and Paula, and Kara have also pretended to choke Simon when he talks too much. And when she appears to be saying "help", IT IS AN ACT! If Paula really needed help, she wouldn't return to her usual self all smiling 1 minute later. And then Janic chokes Seymour in a more physical way to prove a point.
So, no, there is no lesson to be learned her other than Janice needs to be kept in a straight jacket.

ok really Simon wasn't choking her. simon and paula always play around with each other on the show, that is just how they are. if he was choking paula he didn't do it on purpose. they always fight, love each other hate each other that is just them. if paula wanted to do something about it she would have said something or done something herself when the show came back on but she didn't so you could tell she was fine
