Was Paulina Porizkova the 'fat' cut from 'America's Next Top Model'?
Paulina Porizkova has been fired from "America's Next Top Model."
According to Porizkova, she was fired over the phone -- on her birthday -- because of weight issues, and she's looking for a new job.
"But the reason I was fired, just to be fair here, the reason I was told I was fired was because it seemed that 'America's Next Top Model' had gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat, and the fat was me," Porizkova told Craig Ferguson on his show Tuesday night.
"It's not that I was too fat, I was 'the fat,' " Porizkova told Ferguson when he said she was too skinny to be fat.
"So I figured it was either that -- I think that was a nice way of putting it, and it could have been either that or my gigantic huge ego, which I wasn't aware of before I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."
"I didn't either," Porizkova replied when Ferguson said he never thought she had an ego problem. "But Tyra. (Banks). ... I really believe that they just felt they didn't need me, which of course they don't, so that's OK."
Porizkova had been judge since the show's spring 2008 10th edition.
"Oh, I see what this is. I see what it is. It's rivalry!" Ferguson theorized of the firing. "I fire them all the time. They get too pretty, I fire them," says the talk show host.
Do you agree with the firing? Did you like Paulina on the show? Who else should be fired?
