Did Wanda Sykes go too far with White House Correspondents' dinner jokes?

Of course, given the double standards of Liberals, if someone hoped Wanda Sykes would catch AIDS and die, now that would be hateful. But since she's talking about Limbaugh, Liberals and our Idiot President will enjoy a chuckle. Pathetic, typical and no class to boot.

Miss Sykes should be careful about mentioning Limbaugh's bout with oxycontin when Obama has admitted to drug use in the past. As to Limbaugh hoping Obama fails in his presidency, she should read his words a little closer. Limabaugh doesn't want Our country to fail; only those policies that lead to a socialist result. Get it right next time,Wanda!

Well, RL did say he wanted the president's policies to fail, which is the substance of her point here. If someone to the left of Cheney (which is the great majority of the US) had said such a thing about Bush, they'd scream (and often did for much less) about treason too. Guess it's ok for Republicans, though the double standard gets tired real fast.

As Americans, we have the right to state our opinions...just as Limbaugh continues to do on that ridiculous, forsaken show of his. Ms. Sykes is entitled to the same freedom of speech. She is a COMEDIAN people!...one that was speaking in a room full of politicians. WHO among us didn't expect some jokes having to do with recent politics????

And also, I do recall some of these righty repubs laughing as well. I admire Wanda Sykes for saying what she (and what most of us) think of Limbaugh: He's a disgusting ball of disrespect and hate...PERIOD!

If you want Pres. Obama to fail you deserve nothing better. Wanda was perfect and right, and very funny!!!

Wanda did a great job of legitimizing Rush Limbaugh by devoting a significant amount of time to him. She also did a great job of getting down to his level and acting just like him. In the end, she became indistinguishable from him, so I won't waste any more of my time on her.

So true, didn't Rush catch hell just by saying that he "wishes Obama to fail"? Surely Rush wants him to die doesnt he? The difference between conservatives and liberals. Liberals can be as mean and cold hearted as they want and it is "a right" but conservatives won't go down that path and are cosidered weak. Well, I hope Ms. Sykes catches swine flu because she is a pig. How about that?
