From LC to Lo from Brody to Frankie and from Heidi's sister to Spencer's sister, the cast of MTV hit "The Hills" was out in full force on the red carpet for the MTV Movie Awards Sunday.

The cast was there to promote the season five finale, airing directly before the awards show telecast (smart move on MTV's part no?) as well as talk about the bonus episodes coming up with new star Kristin Cavallari.

Lauren Conrad's longtime BFF, Lo Bosworth, said the show's "new direction" will likely grab more viewers but she'll obviously miss sharing the screen with Lauren.

"When we would film, it was just like us hanging out," Bosworth said. I guess not everyone thinks the show is a complete crock but maybe that's just because she's on the MTV payroll?

Either way, Bosworth only had nice things to say about her now former co-star.

"She was so good at balancing it out and I just hope that balance is still there."

Aw, BFF 4 life!

Recently crowned "Dancing With the Stars" champ Shawn Johnson has had a busy year.

Before taking home top prize on "Dancing With the Stars" two weeks ago, Johnson was preoccupied training for the Summer Olympics and subsequently taking home the gold medal at the Beijing ceremony.

However, Johnson, along with "Dancing" partner Mark Ballas, said she still tries to make time for movies.

But when asked about her favorite digital short from movie awards host and "Saturday Night Live" player Andy Samberg, it seems Johnson (and Ballas) hasn't had as much free time to check out such classics as "Lazy Sunday" and "Motherlover."

Ballas was gracious enough to save himself, and his date, with a shout-out for Eminem's highly anticipated performance.

It seems no matter what, a good dance partner will always save their other half. Ole!

After we reported earlier in the weekend about "The Hills' " Stephanie Pratt's major mess-up at the press junket for "The Proposal," it seems there is no stopping this reality starlet from putting her 4-inch heels right in her mouth.

Before getting escorted down the red carpet, we asked Pratt about her choice for MTV movie award for best WTF moment, one of the ceremony's more colorful categories.

Unfortunately, Pratt either didn't know who was nominated or just really wanted to plug Eminem's performance and gave us an in-kind answer to our question.

Let's just hope this poor girl isn't in the spotlight too much longer; we don't know how much more of this we can take.

"High School Musical 3" director Kenny Ortega broke his MTV Movie Awards cherry Sunday to celebrate the film's five nominations, including best kiss and best movie.

Although the franchise that Ortega helped create will be moving on to "High School Musical 4" with someone new behind the camera, the director seemed confident in his successor and appeared to be focused on the many other projects he's currently juggling.

First off, Ortega will be reteaming with Michael Jackson this summer to direct the singer's highly publicized London residency. Then next spring, cameras roll on the "Footloose" remake next spring with "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford taking on Kevin Bacon's famous role.

Although it was earlier reported that Miley Cyrus would play opposite Crawford in the film, Ortega let us in on some casting secrets on the red carpet, such as "Dancing with the Stars" Julianne Hough's "beautiful" screen test.

As for bringing back stars from the original, Ortega simply crossed his fingers -- literally.

Don't worry, Kenny, we have our fingers crossed for that too!

Luke Goss
-- who played Prince Nuada in "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" -- was blown away to be nominated for Best Villain and Best Fight Scene at tonight's MTV Movie Awards

But he was also content not to win either category. "I don't want to win. I'm happy to be here," he said with a laugh. And the laid-back actor had fun catching with his pal "Twilight" and "New Moon" star Kellan Lutz on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet.

Afterward, Goss confessed that his favorite WTF moment in movies this year was "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" full-on nude view of Jason Segel.

"The 'Sarah Marshall' moment was very disturbing for a straight man to see another man naked, with full frontal nudity," he confessed. "It was distressing but I got over it with some therapy."

Why do we have a feeling this is not the last we'll see of this sweet (and funny) British hunk on Hollywood's red carpets?

Check out his roster of upcoming movies: "El Dorado," "Tekkan," "The Throwaways" and "Extinction."

"I know she's gonna win," says Holly Montag at the MTV Movie Awards about her sister, Heidi Montag, letting it slip that Heidi and her new hubby Spencer Pratt are actually competing against each other in the "I'm a Celebrity ... Get me Out of Here" reality show.

But they have formed something "like an alliance." Are we surprised?

"I have seen my sister build fires and eat ants ... that was growing up, for fun. She has a much better chance than anyone is giving her credit for," Holly says.

See, you just never know what a person is capable of.

Be careful, Spencer.

Beware or rejoice, Twilighters. "New Moon" will make "Twilight" look like the little independent movie it was.

The difference between the two is that "New Moon "looks a little bigger, more studio-like," says Peter Facinelli, who plays the head of the Cullen vampire clan. "The CGI is gonna be pumped up a little bit. ... It's much needed because there's a lot more CGI effects because you have a lot of werewolf stuff, and if that looks iffy then the movie won't work."

And he says that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's onscreen romance is strictly that -- an onscreen romance.

Glad he cleared that up.

But we also talked to him about his new role on Showtime's upcoming series "Nurse Jackie," in which he plays yet another doctor, albeit a very different one from the calm Dr. Cullen.

He kinda reminds us of Tom Cruise's cocky character in "Jerry Maguire" on speed.

What do you think about Peter's "New Moon" prediction?
