Harry Hamlin's wife, Lisa Rinna, doles out her gumdrops for $400 a pop
Hollywood be damned.
Wannabe "Melrose Place"-star Lisa Rinna and hubby Harry Hamlin are headed to a Texas Tony's Restaurant later this month to serve up gumdrops and lollipops at a charity bash, according to a blog post at www.texastripper.com. (Get your mind out of the gutter. The space goes between the "s" and "t" on that URL.)
The Candy Land-themed party benefits Houston's ESCAPE Family Resource Center, which aids Houston's abused and neglected youth population.
So, if you want some of Lisa and Harry's gumdrops, get ye to Houston. Tickets run $400 a pop.
Lisa Rinna made news last month when she used a very -- er -- innovative tactic to try to secure a role for herself on the upcoming remake of "Melrose Place." Rinna -- who played Taylor McBride on the original series -- showed up on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Melrose Place with a humongous sign, reading, "Honk for Lisa Rinna on the new 'Melrose Place!'"
