Hugh Hefner is selling the Playboy Mansion?

Whaaaaaaa? This cannot be true!

Well, It's not. But close. Very close.

Hef's actually unloading his Holmby Hills mansion next door to the Playboy Mansion for a mere $27,995,000.

His estranged wife, Kimberley, and their two sons have lived there since the late 1990s.

Whew. For a minute there, we were totally freaked out by the idea of Hef moving into an assisted-living retirement community. Although we have a sneaky feeling his living is already pretty well-assisted.

Anyway, the two-story, 7,300-square-foot English-manor-style home was built in 1929. It has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a library and common rooms for staff. Some of the walls are hand-painted, and there is a hand-carved staircase, just in case you need one for a special occasion.

The home sits on 2.3 acres, is next to the  Los Angeles Country Club, and yes, of course, it has a pool.

Plus it shares a fence with the Playboy Mansion.

Priceless.
