The Dish Rag caught up with "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul last night at Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy bash.
We got the scoop on her strapless satin printed cocktail dress, who she's wearing to tonight's Grammy Awards and some hints about the new season of "American Idol."

Oh, and she also revealed how Dr. Evil, er, Simon Cowell, really felt about the show's new judge.
But we didn't ask her about her cougar rep for dating younger men. Maybe next time.

DR: What are you wearing tonight?
PA: It's a Lebanese designer named Basil Soda.
DR: You went to the Grammy Style Suite and discovered his designs there?
PA: Yes! His dresses are phenomenal.
DR: what are you wearing tomorrow?
PA: Believe it or not, it's another Basil Soda dress, but it's a gown and it's really beautiful.
DR: How about "American Idol" this season –- how's it going?
PA: Good. It's going to be a colorful season. Lots of fun. And seriously great singers too. But I think a guy is going to win -– there are more guys than girls. There are a handful of great girls, but the guys are really great.
DR: What's it like having an extra body, Kara DioGuardi, on the judging panel?
PA: Oh, well, she was my roommate 10 years ago -– she was my best roommate. None of them (the other judges) ever thought that could happen. I think it bugged Simon the most.

I agree totally with this post. No one cares about the fact that bikini girl has been wearing heels all day and now her feet hurt and she has to go to sleep early. umm Honey, take the friggin shoes off. Fox has to start showing us footage of the people who are actually going to make it to Hollywood, not the people who Fox knows will be booted. Anyway, my favorite is still Adam Lambert. I really hate it when a judge tries to predict who will win. Simply because it's a dumb thing to try and do.. However if they are right, then it's even more disappointing if you hoped a girl would win. I will however say that Paula never ceases to look good in what ever she wears.
