TwitterM.I.A. (finally) gives birth! Will she make the Oscars?
HitFix is reporting that hip-hop artist M.I.A., who performed ON HER DUE DATE at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, has finally given birth.
No news on whether M.I.A. is mom to a boy or a girl.
But the more important question is: Will she be able to perform at the Oscars?
The U.K. rapper and singer is an Oscar best original song nominee for her collaboration with A.R. Rahman on "O Saya," in "Slumdog Millionaire."
M.I.A. had planned to perform at the Acacemy Awards with a mix of "Slumdog's" other song, "Jai Ho," as well as "Down to Earth" from "Wall-E."
I'm gonna put some money on M.I.A. performing on Feb. 22.
The Oscars are almost nine whole days away.
And this chick is tough. She is so not gonna want to miss this.
