VIDEO: John Travolta thanks EMT for trying to save Jett
Marcus Garvey, the chief of the Bahamian EMT crew that responded to the call from John Travolta's home, has given an interview about Jett Travolta's death.
Garvey tells Radar how rescue workers tried to save Jett as John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston looked on in horror and how John and Kelly rode with Jett in the ambulance.

When Garvey arrived at the Travoltas' home, Jett had been moved into a hallway where a doctor was performing CPR on the unconscious boy. "There was a minimum amount of blood," Garvey said, adding that Jett had no pulse or respiration.
Kelly wanted to know: "Is he breathing? Are you helping him? Are you getting him back? Is he coming back?"
Garvey answered: "We are still trying."
Garvey says John was holding his son's hand and saying, "Come on, Jett."
Garvey told Radar that a tearful Kelly was also rubbing Jett's hand, saying, "Come on baby, come on Jett."
Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. When the ordeal was over, John Travolta wanted to express his gratitude to Garvey for his effort.
"He tapped me on the shoulder and said, 'Good job, good job."
Now that's a class act.

John I am so so sorry. If u remeber this line from the Punisher when he says, "that i am upset when a sport team loses or when im late for work, I dont know what i feel know." I sorta know what your going through because 2 years ago when i was 9 I lost my best friend from brain cancer. I know its nothing like what ur going through. Good luck going through this crap, and im sure that soon enough u will not be as brocken hearted as you are now. although u had the worst thing that will ever happen to u it will get better. Im going through a tough time too, because my dad is a drunk, im poor, and my parents are divorced. Please email me at noeckerje@yahoo.com. Good luck.
I just want to say to John & Kelly how sorry I am about there son. Im a mother and I would never want to feel that lost...u are in my prayers...

I sincerely hope people leave the Travolta family alone during this time of grieving. There are insensitive idiots out there who will blame them because of their faith. No parent should have to bury their child. My prayers and sincerest condolences go to the Travolta family.

My sincere condolences to the Travolta family on the loss of their precious son and brother.
Hi
I'm Shane's Mom. Shane had leukemia at 2 and now does have a seizure disorder since he was 7. His drug stopped working suddenly in 2008. His seizures turned from petite mauls to grand mauls. He had one grand maul, June, July and August finally we found a drug that would work after trial and error. He hasn't had a grand maul since August but has had what they call absence mauls. I know during our Son's seizures I constantly ask my husband is he breathing it is so devastating to watch. My heart goes out to John, Kelly and Ella
Dear John, Kelly and Ella:
I can't begin to understand how you are feeling. To lose someone you love, especially when you love hard, is horrible. But to lose a child is incomprehensible.
My prayers are with you.
Love, Linda Thomas
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Travolta family. I was 8 when I lost my 16 year sister over 35 years ago. You will miss him everyday, but cherish the memories always and always know he is a part of your lives.
I hope the Florida Residence in Ocala and surrounding areas will let the family grieve in peace.
God Bless.
Dear John, Kelly and Ella:
I can't begin to understand or comprehend how you are feeling. Losing someone you love, especially when you love hard, is horrible. But to lose a child is the most tragic loss for any parent.
May God pour his blessings to you all.
Love, Linda Thomas
