TwitterABC boots 'Ugly Betty,' replaces with 'Samantha Who?'
America Ferrera might have looked stunning at the SAG Awards last night, but despite her smiles, the future is not looking pretty for her show, "Ugly Betty."
According to EW, ABC is removing "Betty" starting March 26. And they're replacing it with episodes of "Samantha Who?" as well the new Megan Mullally-Cheryl Hines comedy, "In the Motherhood."
The network's press release explains: "Ugly Betty" will return to 8 p.m. Thursdays after the run of "In the Motherhood" and "Samantha Who?"
EW says that means "Betty's" return to the small screen won't be until around June, outside the regular season.

I used to watch but I just couldnt by the ridiculous outfits Betty wears and the dumb story lines
This is sad news for all of the mouth-breathers who actually think this show is entertaining.
WOWWW. That is such a stupid move by ABC. Ugly Betty is one of their only good shows, and they are putting it on hiatus? For THOSE shows? Ridiculous. What a waste.
Uh, excuuuuse me ABC?? What a DUMB move! Fans will speak out about this FOR SURE. And for Sammantha Who? Excactly.
this sucks. i love ugly betty i have paid for the box sets. i have wached every week. why do the networks do this???
the the ratings system they work from is so flawed there is now way to know who or how meny people are really watching.
i want to see this show to the end. they better make it good. as for the shows in its place? i wont watch them. sorry abc why would i???
I think it's a travesty that they will do this to Ugly Betty. I accidentally discovered this diamond of a show last fall and fell in love with Betty instantly!
The plot lines never disappoint while the humor is hilariously consistent throughout each episode.
We should stop this while we still can!
I really hope they keep Ugly Betty! I freakin' LOVE that show! It's smart, funny and original! It's one of the best comedies out there right now! If they take it off the air, the only halfway decent things left to watch is reality television!
WHAT???? Betty holds it down for those of us that are not super models. Those of us that are plain janes trying to survive in this beauty driven society. As for the story line.... I love it, it shows that even those people who have it all are misearable. Please don't take my Betty away.
I'm not sure who makes these decisions for ABC, but they are making a HUGE mistake. I was a big fan of Samantha Who? the first season, but this season seems very tired and boring. On the other hand Betty is still a fresh and funny show.
I think this is rediculous because this is the best show on the planet!!!! Take off Grey's Anatomy instead-
