Tim McGraw for governor of Tennessee? It could work!
Tim McGraw, governor of Tennessee?
Nothing less than The New Republic thinks it could happen and that the country singer is now seriously considering a run as the Democratic candidate for the gov's mansion in 2010.
Hey, if he wins, that would make Faith Hill the first lady of Tennessee.
It just doesn't get any better than that.
Even Bill Clinton thinks Tim has what it takes.
A few years ago, the former prez talked to Esquire magazine about McGraw's potential as a politician:
"I think he's got it. The Democrats need candidates whom people can relate to in a personal way, people who understand their lives and their concerns and share their values. And I think that's something Tim can do without even pretending."
What do you think? Would you vote for Tim McGraw?
Hey, everyone laughed at Arnold Schwarzenegger too.

I don't think he would have a shot, nobody would take him seriously. His career is already going downhill when he stated Bill Clinton was a great president. His actions in concert didn't help his cause either. He's lower tier now in country music which is based on conservative values.
