Woman held in Scott Ruffalo shooting is released; Mark Ruffalo issues statement
Actor Mark Ruffalo has released a statement about his brother's death.
"Mark Ruffalo and his family deeply appreciate the outpouring of prayers and support during this most difficult time of the passing of Scott Ruffalo, beloved son, brother and husband," his rep said in a statement. "The funeral service will be private."
Today, Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, was released from custody; she'd been held since turning herself in Monday, Associated Press reports.
Adham's lawyer, Ronald Richards, says that his client was let go after he presented evidence to police showing that the gunshot wound to Ruffalo was self-inflicted.
Was Scott Ruffalo really playing Russian Roulette?
More information about the case is forthcoming Wednesday.
Brian Burton Scofield, 29, another person of interest in the case who was being held by police, was also released from jail.
Ruffalo's family has created a memorial fund in Scott's name. Donations may be sent to:

Such a non-sensical tragedy. Is this how one 's own stupidity end?
If Scott really did die from a self-inflicted GSW playing Russian Roulette, that's pretty stupid. Why would anyone donate to the family fund for something like this?
I nominate Scott for a Darwin Award.
Who's Scott Ruffalo...?!
If you did not know Scott don't make such rude and ignorant comments. He is one of the nicest guys I ever met. He loved his family and was a genuine person who was kind and generous. He always had a smile.
This is sad and I feel for his family. However, why is there a fund for this guy? His brother is a well-known actor, with some money probably, and the guy died while playing Russian Roulette, most probably while loaded on drugs.
