How much you would pay for Scarlett Johansson's nasal goop, wiped up by a tissue during her recent appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno"?
She admitted she'd probably caught a head cold from her "The Spirit" costar Samuel L. Jackson. And after joking that her sniffles had some kind of "value," the star decided to auction off her tissue on eBay to benefit USA Harvest.
The bidding started at 99 cents and zoomed to $5,300 before the auction closed last night.
Wow. One wonders how much her toilet paper would fetch.
According to eBay, there were 83 people who were off their rocker ... er, I mean, 83 people who bid.
My bet is that the fan who keeps barraging dozens of celebrity websites with comments about Scarlett Johansson actually being a "clone" is the one who snagged the snoot rag, probably intending to use it in further genetic cloning experiments.
Just a hunch.
