Woman found dead near Paula Abdul's house may have been her stalker

The dead body of a woman was found in a car just yards from Paula Abdul's house.

Tuesday, police told TMZ it may have been a drug overdose/suicide.

And it may be a woman who was obsessed with the "American Idol" judge.

Police sources told TMZ that they think the victim had stalked Abdul and said police had been to the house "numerous times before" to deal with her.

Paula's people tell TMZ they do know who the woman is.

Apparently, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department was called by the victim's parents at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

They told police that their daughter was missing and that she "had an unnatural obsession" with Paula and they might want to check the "American Idol" judge's home.

How creepy/sad is this?
