Paris Hilton 'will always love' Benji Madden

Paris Hilton told Ryan Seacrest this morning that she "will always love" Benji Madden.

"I love him. He's such an amazing man."

Excuse me while I chug some Pepto-Bismol.

The hotel heiress insists that this week's sudden breakup had nothing to do with photos taken over the weekend of her and her old Greek shipping heir beau, Stavros Niarchos, in Miami.

She insists that there was no cheating and that they are simply better off as friends right now, adding that she and the very non-controlling Benji are "taking a break" because they are both working sooo hard on their various projects.

One of these projects is the New Year's Eve party in Sydney, Australia, for the new online networking system Bongo Virus. Paris was to host. And according to Fox News, Benji was set to spin tunes.

But given the rumors that Paris' new London BF Prince William also has been invited to the bash, Benji might have been a real third wheel.

Is that why she told Seacrest that her sister Nicky Hilton is now going to co-host the party with her?

Isn't it interesting that Benji's out of the picture for New Year's even though they are still such good friends and always will be?

Too bad Ryan didn't ask Paris about the rumors of Prince William attending the bash.

Still, we believe her when she insists that she's not interested in dating anyone right now.

As she put it, "the thought of that just grosses me out."
