Britney Spears, almost 27, feels like an 'old person'? O RLY?

Britneyx Britney Spears, who just jetted off to Europe to start her international "Circus" tour, tells Rolling Stone that she's really matured in the last year.

And not necessarily in a good way.

"I feel like an old person now," she says in Rolling Stone's next issue, out Friday. "I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don't go out or anything."

Spears turns 27 on Dec. 2, the day her album, "Circus," hits stores.

But it has been a busy year for the pop star: two trips to hospital psychiatric wards, head-shaving, car windshield-bashing, run-ins with the paparazzi and an affair with one of them, speaking in a British accent, stumbling disastrously onstage at the 2007 VMAs and then making an amazing comeback at the 2008 show.

Ever since her father, Jamie Spears, filed for legal conservatorship so that he could oversee her finances and personal affairs, her life has gotten saner and more normal. Well, as sane and normal as a famous pop star's life can be.

Will it last? Will Britney ever escape this micromanaged life she is now living?

Probably not as long as she keeps performing and bringing in the bucks. Maybe if she retires, she can live her own life.

What do you think? Is Britney really happy or just faking it? Click here to read the Rolling Stone online interview.

Who cares?

Just disappear your has-been !

Married twice, knocked up twice, drugged out, psycho hospitalized....no one cares, go away, go away, go away !!!

Go Britney! You have been through a lot of bad things and to make a comeback like you have Congrats!

Awesome for her getting her life back on track. Can't help but wonder if it's coming a little too soon, but... I think she's made great strides. ALSO.

She's on her sixth studio album, which is a great feat these days.

The girl is resilient.

As for the new material, I'd say she knows her strong points and sticks with them.

I'm a little concerned about something though. If you listen to her EARLY ballads, like 'From the Bottom of My Broken Heart', she sports a somwhat strong and really nice voice. Listen to 'My Baby' off of Circus, and it sounds thin and weak. I wonder what happened.

All in all though..

lovin it :)

KEEP ROCKIN, BRITNEY!

Hey, so-called MusicFan, you had to push a lot of mouse buttons to get to this article, so don't pretend you don't care. Just because BS doesn't love you back...

whatever musicfan...nobody cares about a hater's opinions anyway...
