John McCain or Barack Obama: Who has the most negative ads?

John McCain got in the first jab, accusing Barack Obama of negative campaigning, during last night's final presidential debate.

Is he serious? Or deep-down, does John really know he's lying? Maybe that's why he blinks so darn much.

Maybe his blinks are Morse code translated to:

"my.advisors.told.me.say.this.so.I.can.win.the.election.it's.my.last.chance.forgive.me.I.really.want.to.win"

Obama countered, charging McCain with running "100%" negative ads. McCain insisted that Obama spent more money on negative ads than any campaign in history.

Really? Has anyone seen those Obama McCain-attacking  ads? The only videos I've seen are attacks on McCain's political stands, not his character. But maybe I missed some.

Last night, McCain finally used the terrorist word, referencing Bill Ayers, a member of the violent Weather Underground in the 1960s, who hosted a meet-the-candidate event for Obama in an Illinois race many years later.

Obama got in a zinger when he noted, "The fact that this has become such an important part of your campaign, Sen. McCain, says more about your campaign than it says about me."

What do you think? Who has run the more negative campaign? John McCain or Barack Obama?

To refresh your memory, check out these videos.

Yes - I think you are missing something -- like ALL of the negative ads Obama has put out and plays every 3 minutes. He said he would not take public financing, yet has based his whole campaign on these funds. Democrats are trying to BUY this election. BESIDES -- maybe McCain is playing negative ads because the MAIN STREAM MEDIA WILL NOT tell the TRUTH about OBAMA!!

McCain 47% negative, Obama 35% negative, but Obama has had more airings because he's bought more air time, so it's about even.

Obama making the statement that someone's comment reflects more on the commenter is an old ploy and has no bearing on whether or not the comment is appropriate.

I live in TX and I have really only seen 1 Obama ad since the primaries and that was this weekend. It was about his healthcare plan versus McCains healthcare plan and I definately wouldn't call it negative. On the other hand, I have seen about 10 different McCain ads talking about stuff that really doesn't matter and attacking not only Obama but Democrats alike. You do the math.
