Johnmccainbeauty2000 According to Politico.com, Barack Obama supporter Ben Affleck will do a satirical skit version of his "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

And Republican presidential candidate John McCain will take time out from his last minute swing state campaigning to make an 'SNL' appearance.

It had been rumored that Barack Obama might show up on SNL. He still could, but my guess is that we'll just have to settle for the funny gray dude.

The Arizona senator has described himself as "pretty good at stand up comedy" and may hope to show his less desperate - and more humorous - side in a last-minute appeal to the show's newly reignited audience before voters head to the polls on Nov. 4.

Does taking time off from from the stump mean that McCain feels confident about the Tuesday election?

Or is McCain hoping to jump start a new career as a stand-up comedian if his second presidential bid fails?

What do you think?

Here's some information that was sent to me via e-mail today. It was written by Kelvin LaFond from Fort Worth, Texas, who wrote it to the editors of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Definitely worth thinking about ...

Here's how racism works

What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?

What if McCain were still married to the first woman he said "I do" to?
What if Obama were the candidate who left his first wife after she no longer measured up to his standards?

What if Michelle Obama were a wife who not only became addicted to painkillers, but acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

What if Obama were a member of the Keating Five?
What if McCain were a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are?

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference.

MySpace Presents: THE FIT with The Jonas Brothers

Check out The Jonas Brothers FIT video that takes you behind the scenes of the fashion decisions for their new 1940s era music video for "The Love Bug."

Meet their stylist Michelle Tomaszewski, who duded up your favorite dudes in white '40s dinner jackets, fedoras, suspenders, etc. We learn that the shoes make the man, one of guys likes APC jeans, another likes Ray-Ban shades and that they know several menswear designer names, including Phillip Lim.

And now here's the video! And yes, that's Camilla Belle! What do you think of the clothes? And the boys!

Must be quite loud at the dinner table when the Baldwin brothers get together and talk politics.

"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin is a staunch supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. So is his little brother, Billy ("Dirty Sexy Money") Baldwin, who raised $58,000 for Obama's campaign with a recent fundraiser-dinner at his home.

But to make it interesting, their brother Stephen Baldwin is now outspokenly supporting Republican candidate John McCain. A previous blog item inferred that Stephen would leave the country if McCain won. It's actually just the opposite, as some readers pointed out. He's leaving if Obama wins! Click here to hear him promise this!

So let's set the record straight about who's for who and why.

The actor, 38, and a born-again Christian, is voting Republican and calls Obama a "cultural terrorist," although his views seem to be less about politics and more about religion.

"My desire to be at the RNC was this goal that I have to support the candidate that I believe has the most faith," Stephen told "Access Hollywood." "Systematically, God is being erased and removed from our culture, our society, our government."

He added, "I think it's kind of freaky, man."

Stephen is also against homosexuality and gay marriage, a stand which his brother Billy disagrees with.

Click here to read his interview in Out magazine about his brother's anti-gay stand.

Then keep reading after the jump for Stephen's conversation with Laura Ingraham's countering his bro Alec's threat to leave if Bush got elected.

Madonna Dun, dah dah, dun dun ... dun, dah dah, dun dun...

Madonna's and Alex Rodriguez's top secret Hamptons hookup sounds straight out a James Bond spy thriller.

According to the New York Post, each took off in separate private helicopters last week for a quick and cozy rendezvous.

And guess where they spent four precious hours? At Jerry Seinfeld's securely lavish 12-acre estate.

Freshly divorced A-Rod, 33, flew by chopper to East Hampton, where he was picked up in a white Porsche 911 matching the description of Jessica Seinfeld's car.

About 40 minutes later, a helicopter that departed from Chelsea Piers carrying freshly separated Madonna, 50, landed at the same airstrip.

"A dark SUV and Jerry Seinfeld in another Porsche both pulled up and picked up Madonna and they headed back to Jerry's place," a witness told the Post. When they arrived at the Seinfeld home, the source says, "Madonna poked her head out the window and could be clearly seen."

Apparently, the Seinfelds have been buddy-buddy with Madonna for years. They're neighbors on the West Side and often go to her concerts.

There are no details about exactly what Madge and A-Rod did while there. Darn it. But about four hours later, the dark SUV left the house and took them all to the airport.

"Madonna and the Seinfelds could clearly be seen getting out and piling into the copter that had taken Madonna there in the first place. They left together," our witness said. "Several minutes later, the helicopter that carried A-Rod also left."

All that for just four hours with the slugger? Hope it was worth it.

Lindsaylohansamronson Need yet another sign of the apocalypse?

A new signal that the current economic downslide is far, far worse than we even imagined?

Then click here to see Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson actually -- riding the New York subway!

The lovebirds eventually got off at the trendy district of SoHo to collect DJ equipment for Ronson's gigs.

My God. What will be next?

Firing their personal stylists?

Getting rid of their PR flacks?

Wearing (shudder) a designer dress to a party more than once?

If these two pampered celebs are cutting back on chauffeur-driven limos,  I guess it's time we all tightened our cinch belts.

Hang in there, folks.

This is gonna be a bumpy ride.

Jessica Simpson's third movie, "Major Movie Star," about a ditzy washed-up celebrity who joins the Army, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival two years ago and was deafeningly panned by the three people forced to watch it.

But this week, it finally opened -- in Russia -- where it was No. 1. Which seems to speak volumes about the caliber of the film choices there.

But don't expect to see this movie in your local theaters any time soon.

However, you will be able to rent it, renamed "Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous," on DVD in the U.S., a source confirms to Us. (Hmmm, I seem to recall a Goldie Hawn starrer resembling the same title.)

The movie -- in which Simpson's character enlists to earn money to pay her bills -- is slated to hit stores Feb. 3, 2009. Mark your calendars, folks.

Or you could hop a plane to Bulgaria next month, where the film will open. Just for fun, we've posted a promo about the film shot during production.

And according to this, the film was actually initially going to premiere in Iraq. Boy, I don't know if that would've been a trick or treat for our valiant troops.

Fox News notes that Jessica's bomb --  sorry, movie -- will not be released in any country where English is the primary language.

Ouch. Are we surprised?
