Sarah Palin lands a woman interviewer: Katie Couric
Enough of ABC's mean old Charlie Gibson, who kept asking Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin about God's plan, meeting foreign leaders and the Bush Doctrine, whatever the heck that is.
Republican VP candidate Palin has picked a potentially friendlier –- and definitely much cuter -- female interviewer for her next TV press sit-down:
CBS news anchor Katie Couric.
Oh, goodie. Maybe they can talk about shopping the resale shops for those spiffy campaign suits, how to get the Palin beehive, what color lipstick looks best on pit bull leaders and what's up with the tanning bed.
According to ET, Couric will reportedly spend two days traveling on the campaign trail with Palin this month.
The first interview segment will air on the "CBS Evening News With Katie Couric" on Sept. 29, followed by additional material on Sept. 30 on "The Early Show" and CBS News, a press release said.
Coverage will include Couric's travels and interview with Palin along with behind-the-scenes access to Palin and John McCain.
So when will Palin face the real feminine fire by going on "The View" and chatting with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck?
Now that's the interview we wanna see.
How about you? Who would you like to see to interview Sarah? Names, we want names...

Gwen Ifill
I would like to see her interviewed by Anderson Cooper. Also, I would like to see her go on the Sunday morning political talk shows like "Meet the Press". Finally, I would like to see her answer regular reporters' questions.
I want to interview her myself. She is certainly intellegent and cute! Let's elect Sarah and McCain!
Rachel Maddow
How about she takes some unscripted questions from the general public. Enough of her handlers keeping her out of reality's way.
Awesome! Actually, Katie Kouric is the person I want to see interview Gov Palin. She's knows about political issues more then the women on the View... who only knows how the "feel" about a certain situation... no thoughts behind it. And how is Katie nice? I think she's more non-biased then the other women.
Rachel Maddow
This should be good, I remember Katie interviewing my former company Bayer about the cost of Anthrax remedy drugs. She was brutally frank and cut our CEO to pieces.
As along as she is not pro-Palin she might be very damaging to the McCain campaign.
This is one decision they might live to regret.
How about an interview of Palin by Stepen Sackur of the BBC's 'Hardtalk'?
She comes across as tough, but fair as an interviewer and commentator....yes it will be interesting to see.
Maybe by then most of the Sarah bashing will be done and over with and the public can see the politician (and she is a politician...make no mistake about it) as she is and what she might be like in Washington..
