Gwynethpaltrow

Want Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle?

Sure you do. She's beautiful, talented, well educated, wealthy, has a hot rock star husband and has two gorgeous babies. She's BFFs with Madonna and Kate Hudson. She's got a fragrance contract, has won an Oscar. She had the ovaries to wear a see-through dress to meet then-First Lady Hillary Clinton, and most of all, she has a mind-boggling designer shoe collection!

But getting her lifestyle will take some doing. Or rather, gooping.

Along with a new PBS travel/cooking show, the actress has just launched goop.com, an inspiration, aspirational website designed to make you take charge of your life and make it what you want it to be.

The fledgling website includes a newsletter signup and a personal essay from Paltrow about what matters to her.

Oh, and there are also invaluable features yet-to-be-filled features called "Make," "Go," "Get," "Do," "Be," and "See."

All action verbs. Get it?

Here's her message:

"My life is good because I am not passive about it. I want to nourish what is real, and I want to do it without wasting time. I love to travel, to cook, to eat, to take care of my body and mind, to work hard. I love being a mother who has to overcome my bad qualities to be a good mother. I love being in spaces that are clean and feel nice.

Over the years, i have tried a lot of different things. I have made lots of mistakes. But I have figured some things out in the process and I would like to share them with you. Whether you want a good place to eat in London, some advice on where to stay in Austin, the recipe I made up this week, or some thoughts from one of my sages, GOOP is a little bit of everything that makes up my life.
Make your life good. Invest in what's real. Cook a meal for someone you love. Pause before reacting. Clean out your space. Read something beautiful. Treat yourself to something. Go to a city you've never been to. Learn something new. Don't be lazy. Workout and stick with it. GOOP. Make it great."

Pardon me, but what a load of goop. Is Gwyneth Paltrow the blond Oprah?

Give me a break!

Your life is good because you were born into the lucky sperm club.

Do we really care if you're friends with Madonna? Holy christ....

Oh yes, the next time I'm in London, I'll make sure to ask you what restaurant I should got to, to see and be seen by all of the most important people! Oooh la la

Hollywood is a joke. You live in a land of make believe and live a life few normal people will ever know.

What a joke.

Please, Inspirational advice from Gwynnie? This spoiled, self entitled brat who has had a silver spoon in her mouth from day one? Excuse me-but how dare she? She thinks she breathes a different air than 99 % of the people on this planet-and she has never let any of us forget that. Please people-Ignore her!

I think anyone who wants to dish out advice should be free to do so. If you think she's a spoiled brat then don't read what she has to say. I think she's an amazing actress, mother, cook and person. I saw her on Oprah and thought she was wonderful. Don't let the haters get you down Gwyneth!!

I'm curious, I would read her goop. Maybe she might not understand our ordinary worlds but we're all humans with a chance to learn from one another.

GO GWYNETH! Prove these bastards wrong!

I saw her on Oprah. She was pretty dim. I think she's harmless and I doubt she'll be writing any of the newsletters/website content. I'm sure she's hired people to do that for her.

If she's beautiful then I am off the charts drop dead gorgeous! I also have a college education, unlike dear Gwynstie.
