Turns out Hayden Panettiere's dad may not be hero material.
The "Heroes" cheerleader's father Alan (Skip) Panettiere was arrested early this morning on allegations of spousal abuse.
He has reportedly been charged with one felony count of domestic violence for allegedly hitting his wife, Lesley.
According to TMZ, Alan was taken into custody after an argument broke out at their West Hollywood home.
Cops came and there are reportedly photos of the abuse.
What was the fight about? Dude sounds a little insecure. Seems Alan 'hulked out' because of jealousy.
Alan accused Lesley of "hanging" with another man and "disrespecting" him at Eva Longoria's Beso restaurant during Hayden's charity benefit for the Whalemen Foundation.
Hayden's "Heroes" costar and boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, was also there with her. Tony Parker was there with Eva.

How do these "hillbilly" families manage to make it all the way to hollywood? Neither of the parents would have been Hollywood, or at this party, if it weren't for their daughters talent.
Kids, here's a tip. If you make it to the big time, leave your mom and dad, and you're siblings back home. Buy them a car, send them a few bucks if you like, but don't try to drage them into you're world. They're you parents, not your best friends. They may not be smart enough to understand this, but you, with a career, should be able to grasp this fact!
Ther's just something creepy about a middle aged woman trying to look and dress like her teenage daughter. My guess is that dad see's the handwriting on the wall. If not, this possibly trumped up DV charge should make it clear tha he is being "lohaned".
I wouldn't call the Panettiere family hillbillies or trash. The Hogans? Check. The (Dog) Chapmans? Check. Hayden is a teenager. If my daughter were to enter show business in any way, shape or form, I would be there right beside her. Not to ride her coattails, but to make sure none of the obvious showbiz pitballs happen to her. Who always has your back?? Generally, your parents. Also, her mother, in the above pic, doesn't look like she's trying to be a teenager.
Ed you are an idiot. You obviously have no idea what your talking about, or the people you are talking about. Hayden's mom was originally an actress, so she could have been in Hollywood without Hayden. Also, Hayden's mother was the one who made it possible for her to be a star, she had all the connects, so obviously Hayden is not just going to drop her. Learn your ****.
i don't know if i should believe this story... but i'm a big fan of hayden, and if it's true, i feel so bad for her and her family. Hayden seems like a sweet and down-to-earth girl, and i really really don't want to see her family, as one of the ''bad'' familys in hollywood! I really don't want this to be true!
