Beijing's eight-time gold medalist, U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps, has been romantically linked with two beautiful women. Lucky dog.
One is top U.S. swimmer Amanda Beard. The other is British supermodel Lily Donaldson, whom he reportedly met on a photo shoot.
On the surface, Michael has more in common with Beard, who held the Olympic record for women's 200 meters breaststroke after winning in Athens. But she didn't make the finals in Beijing. And she's also done some modeling. She went starkers for an PETA anti-fur ad (click here!) and she's also posed nude for Playboy.
But 21-year-old Donaldson is one of the world's top fashion models. She's replaced Kate Moss as one of the faces of Burberry and also models for Gucci and the Gap. For starters, she's absolutely stunning. And to finish it off, she's a supermodel. Then there's that accent ...
Who will win Phelps' gold medal?
I'm predicting the supermodel will win the first heat. Although Beard does have home court advantage.
I guess we'll know the winner if Lily models in the upcoming New York fashion shows in September and Michael Phelps is plopped in the front row, next to Vogue editrix Anna Wintour.

Hands down I believe he should bond with the the he loves. In my opinion love would be difficult with a woman with the background of Lily vs. the background of Amanda. the question then is who would be the better match for Michael. Michael, although a multi-millionaire he seems to be a simple, easy going person, and I don't see him in in the super-model world. It is Amanda.
Well I doubt it will be Amanda Beard. She bashed him on the Johnjay and Rich Morning Show. They asked her about it and she said "Eww! No that is disgusting" and she also said that Michael is "not her type." because " She likes attractive people." (its on tmz.com they have to audio clip.)
So my bet is on Lily Donaldson.
Hopefully Lily Donaldson comes out the winner. Amanda Beard is aging very quickly, wrinkles, poor skin, and the 5 head. Michael can do much better, maybe land someone with a little more class.

Anyway, he should just be with someone he loves, whether or not it's one of these.
Beard denied ANY involvement with Phelps and in fact was quite RUDE in her comments (about his looks). Don't know what makes her think her sexy, what with that flat chest,.

Man just take things slow, lots of Gold Diggers out therte in those Shark infested waters if you know what I'm saying, just finds a couple of good or great friends, ladies with somw Class and Brains that may be hard to find on with with both qualities but just "Stay Happy" no need for Drama. Amanda's comment about dating Phelps "ew, no I have good taste" is a huge dissappointment to me. It is one thing to be confident but another to be arrogant. Maybe she should work on getting some class and interview etiquette on her off time.
How about Phelps and Rumer Willis... then they'd have matching chins.
Amanda may have an impressive resume, but it is outrageous for her to balk at dating Michael Phelps due to his appearance. She looks ROUGH in the face, my friends.
