Janet Jackson's bare you-know is back in the news!

Janetjackson__Remember when Justin Timberlake ripped off Janet Jackson's top and  exposed her pierced nipple during the Super Bowl XXXVIII half-time show in 2004?

CBS certainly remembers, because the network was fined $550,000 by the FCC. Four years later, an appeals court has overturned the ruling and says that CBS could not be held accountable fo the actions of "independent contractors" Timberlake and Jackson.

The FCC fined the network afer it said it received 542,000 complaints right after the infamous "wardrobe malfunction."

But CBS insisted that most of those complaints came from well-organized groups who held an interest in the topic.

Hmmm. Can you say "religious right"?

Anyway, now CBS is off the hook. And, frankly, no one really cares about Janet's chest anymore.

We have far more important things to fret over, like Iraq, Iran, gas prices, greenhouse gases and the melting polar ice caps.

Are you still emotionally scarred by Janet's wardrobe malfunction? Sound off, if you are.
